our fabulous boats are amazing!
Our boats are the perfect venues for making your freshers party, summer ball or other student event one to remember. Suitable for event of 40 – 240.
- Our in-house DJ can be hired to get everyone dancing or, if you prefer, you can bring on your own DJ for a surcharge, if they want to hire our top of the range equipment this can be arranged.
- All boats have sundecks, perfect for amazing photos with ever changing iconic landmarks as you cruise through London.
- We pride ourselves on keeping our bar prices sensible, they won't be as cheap as the student union bar (sorry!) but they are standard pub prices for Central London. On most dates a pre-paid minimum bar spend will apply, this can be converted into drinks tokens and added to the ticket cost if you would like.
- We can also offer a range of decorations, selfie mirrors, casino tables, or other fun options to help make your party extra special.
- BBQ's, buffet, street food and more can be arranged if you wish, however this is not essential.
- We have a home mooring at Temple Pier, directly opposite Temple tube station, and would normally sail from there however can pick up at any Central London pier at your discretion.
- We understand that not all student will be over 21, which is fine, however if any under 18's will be invited we do need to know about this in advance - please see our student prom page for under 18 events. Please also note our Under 21's Policy.
- Please note that due to the nature of the event you will need to have security onboard and a security bond is applicable, full details will be on the quote we send you.

Capital pleasure Boats made the whole process of planning my event very easy. all of the staff members were top class and really helped me throughout. Fantastic, friendly, kind and excellent in his handling of last night's events. Excellent, friendly and engaging Boat Captain who provided an excellent journey. Fantastic, friendly and engaging with students. DJ - Excellent DJ through his delivery of music. I think he is the best DJ in Europe.

I would like to take the opportunity to thank you and your colleagues at CPBS for your help in organising the party on the Golden Flame last Monday. My committee and I were impressed by the efficient welcome and service we encountered from the crew the whole function ran very smoothly. People I spoke to during and after the party said that they had enjoyed themselves thoroughly and that they greatly appreciated the boat ride down the Thames. I hope that my committee's compliments can be forwarded the crew on board the Golden Flame, who helped make the event such a tremendous success in the eyes of us and our fellow students.

My university booked a boat for a student party and the staff on the boat were cooperative and helpful. The ship looked nice for the event and the attendees had a good time during the ride.

The Golden Sunrise hosted a university hall party for 120 people that I helped to organise as the Hall's social sec. Carol and her team were very easy to work with and everyone had a great night. It was a completely positive experience and I'm sure that my hall will be booking the same boat next year - as they have for the previous three!
