At Capital Pleasure Boats our aim is to help you to create the perfect function – every time.
To this end, we supply a wide and varied selection of entertainment, catering, drinks and decorations to complement your event onboard our Thames party boats.
Entertainment Options
- Resident DJ – dance the night away to the best music from the 60’s to present day – from £396 (£330 + VAT).
- Own DJ – bring on your own DJ with their own equipment for a surcharge of £84 (£70 + VAT) *Not available on the Golden Star*. Alternatively, you can hire our sound system.
- Karaoke DJ – Your chance to dazzle with your Beyonce or Sam Smith impressions – from £600 (£500 + VAT).
- Playlist Plug in – Bring on your own pre-set playlist and link up your phone/device to our system – £31.20 per hour (£26ph + VAT)

Create the ‘WOW’ factor and create an instant party feeling on board – by adding from our range of fabulous decorations.
From helium balloons, to light up dancefloors and letters, we have some fabulous decoration options available.
Drinks
With a fully stocked bar on each level. Offering a wide range range of drinks we can offer the following options:
- Reception drinks to welcome your guests onboard.
- Pre-purchased drinks token.
- Pay-as-you-go bar.
- Pre-paid account bar.
Catering
Choose from bar snacks or canapés for a lighter option.
Our popular and informal street food selection.
Or for something more traditional, a buffet, BBQ or sit-down meal could be the right choice.
Piers
Whilst our centrally located home pier is Temple Pier, where we start and end the majority of our events, we are also able to use a variety of other piers along the River Thames.
