Temple Pier in London is the home pier of Capital Pleasure Boats and is where we embark and disembark most of the boat parties we organise. It is also where you will board the boat prior to your party for your free set up time if you have pre-booked this with the office. It is conveniently located opposite Temple tube station on Victoria Embankment.

Other details:
- There are steps from the pavement over the embankment wall, then a ramp down to the pier that can be extremely steep at low tide. There are steps from the pier down to the boarding points
- Metered on-street parking available on Victoria Embankment and Temple Place
- Black licensed taxis pass regularly along Victoria Embankment. Ranks at Charing Cross Station, Embankment Place (under rail bridge) and outside Savoy Hotel.
- There is a red route loading box just before Temple Pier on Victoria Embankment

A loading bay can be found on Victoria Embankment, London, WC2R 2PN.
Opposite Temple Tube Station.
The loading bay is marked on the road by a red dotted box as per the photo, and is situated on the westbound side of Victoria Embankment.
Current* restrictions for the loading bay are:
- No stopping at any time except 10am-4pm and 7pm-7am.
- Loading max 40 minutes.

Temple is named after the Knights Templar’s Solomon’s Temple in Jerusalem. Today it is best known as the legal district of London and is home to many barristers and solicitors, as well as the famous Royal Courts of Justice.
