Myself and my partner went on the Golden Jubilee for NYE and it was just amazing. Not too crowded, the crew were amazing, the DJ was great and the view for the fireworks was perfect. The one thing that impressed us most was that I have very rare dietary needs and the chef went above and beyond to make sure I was accommodated for which you would be surprised how many chefs wouldn't be bothered to do that for one specific person so we was blown away and extremely grateful. We would definitely do this again and recommend to anyone who is thinking of using Capital Pleasure Boats.

I have to say that we had a fantastic time on the boat for our Christmas Party. I was really happy to see some decorations were already up on the boat as we found ourselves quite short on time in putting our own ones up so thank you for this.
I also found the boat manager on the night really helpful and was open for us to do what we wanted in terms of the decorations which was great. All in all a great night, so thank you for all your support you have been extremely helpful with the booking process.

This was my second time bringing in the new year with CPBS on the Golden Jubilee. It was all fantastic. Where the boat stopped to watch the fireworks was great too. Plus the boat wasn't overcrowded so getting a drink and queueing for the toilets was ok.
Thanks for a great night CPBS. My partner and I will be back for another new year, I'm sure.

We held our office Christmas party on board the Golden Star on 25th November and even though it wasn't quite December the boat had been decorated for the season and looked fantastic. The cost of the boat hire was very reasonable, as was the cost of the lovely buffet that they provided and drink prices at the bar were very realistic too. All of the CPBS staff were very accommodating - they arranged an initial viewing for us at Temple, allowed us to run our trip from / to Greenwich and arranged for a magician and DJ to entertain our guests. All of the staff that worked on the boat during the evening were great and no-one had to wait long to be served on the bar. We were very lucky to have a dry evening, which meant that we could go outside to get a better view of the sights of London at night, but even from inside the boat the views were awesome. The dance floor was well used all night, with the DJ playing a wide variety of tunes that appealed to everyone. It was very different to a usual Christmas party yet at a cost that is comparable to something far less enjoyable. At the end of the night we all wished the party could have continued!

Booked the Golden Sunrise 11/12/15 for the Christmas party which was mixed with other companies and I must admit when organising, I was very apprehensive! However from start to finish it was brilliant! The staff were so helpful with all of my phone calls and questions. Once on the boat the music was great and we danced the night away! Buffet was just what to expect and the bar staff fabulous! I was initially worried about 4 hours on the boat, but to be honest I could have spent another 4 hours on it easily! All of my colleagues agree it was brilliant. I would recommend 100%. I cannot wait to get organising for next year!!! Thank you CPBS for the wonderful experience!!

What an experience! Wow, spent new years eve on the golden jubilee. It was our 1st time and will definitely book again. The night was awesome, the drinks were great and the chilli was superb and the staff were amazing. although at the end of the night some were a little pushy and moody.
We met alot of different people from all different countries and it just made our night.
The fireworks were out of this world and we were so close to them too.
Absolutely worth 5 stars. Thankyou 😊

On behalf of my company, I hired the Golden Star for our Christmas party just last week, and it was amazing! The crew, caterers, and DJ were all very accommodating and worked around us on the night, and the food was lovely! The boat itself was a perfect size as we only had 34 people, and was decorated perfectly for the Christmas theme. Cannot recommend enough. If you require a thames party experience with exceptional service, then i strongly recommend Capital Pleasure Boats 🙂

I booked the Golden Star for our staff Christmas party this year (January). We all had a fantastic time on board. We booked the DJ through CPB and he was fab - played a great range of music, had everyone dancing all night and was open to our many requests! The bar staff and other staff on board were all a pleasure to deal with, professional, fun and friendly. I would definitely recommend 🙂

I want thank first Carol for her professionalism, she was great, very quick to reply emails and always available to reply to any query. The party was great and I had great feedbacks from all my colleagues. The food was ok. The music maybe wasn't that good. We would have liked a more recent music and less slow music. We had to ask several times before we would be able to get the song that we liked. Otherwise great experience!!

Myself, my husband and another couple booked the Golden Jubilee cruise for our New Years celebrations. When we arrived we waited for about 20 minutes to get onto the boat which we all thought was very disorganised as people were just pushing into the queue and there was no one marshalling this. As you can imagine this put us all in a bit of a mood and what we expected for the rest of the night but we were all pleasantly surprised. Once on board the cruise it was fabby! There were two bars that were staffed well so you never waited longer than about a minute for a drink and the meal that was served was very tasty. The Staff were all very helpful and friendly but the star of the night has to be the DJ. The DJ played the best music from the moment we arrived and really made the night it was. Overall the amazing time we had on the boat masked the minor delay in the beginning and I would highly recommend this cruise!

We took the New Year's Eve Golden Star boat, it was so fun! We got to see many of the iconic sites of London before settling in a spot to see the fireworks. Ticket prices were cheaper than other companies hosting cruises that evening and I would say the boat was well worth the money! Staff was very friendly! The DJ got everyone dancing and the Captain put the boat in perfect position so that we could see the countdown illuminated off the building and the firework display. It is chaos getting to the pier and finding a tube stop that was open at the end of or evening but that can be expected when attending a big city event such as this. That is no reflection on the boat company. If you happen to be in London for New Year's go! It is great fun.

We had a great time on the Golden Jubilee for New Years Eve - boarded at 8.45 and travelled up and down the river - the disco was great, you could sit downstairs - not much room to sit upstairs where the disco was but plenty of room for dancing - we didn't eat the chilli - it didn't look that appetising - free drinks - lots of fun and a fantastic view of the fireworks - so glad we did it and would do it again.

To be honest I only booked this as I had left it too late to book the expensive ones with the sit down meal. All inc cruise up to Canary Wharf, buffet meal and good location for NYE fireworks next to Parliament. Most excellent value. Boat was not overcrowded but enough people to make good atmosphere. Champagne on arrival. Had to be searched but very friendly staff. Great mix of people Ozzies Yanks Yorkshire and even a London couple. Two bars and hardly queued at any time. Disco on top deck and quieter area on lower deck for the old folk. 8 pm to 2am which was plenty of time for drinking. Chili n nachos for the food. A great value trip and very relaxed atmosphere. Booking it was simple with English staff who were lovely. Would definitely recommend this as a trip for New Years eve. Take coat as its cold on the outer deck. One downside no seats are reserved so if you nip off outside someone might sit in your seat. Few minor disputes over that were dealt with by diplomatic staff.
