Fascinating fact!
Albert Bridge was originally built as a toll bridge however when in 1879 it had failed to generate a decent income the tolls were lifted. The bridge tollbooths are still in place and are the only ones remaining in London today.

I would also like to say that your staff on board the Golden Jubilee were amazing. They were all so kind, helpful and super patient when we had difficulties caused by our sound equipment. Just got home after a very busy and enjoyable weekend in London. I am delighted to say my group's pleasure cruise along the Thames aboard Golden Star was a great success, and everything ran completely to plan. All of my guests had a great experience and I didn't hear a single hint of a complaint! The catering provided by Mainstream was excellent, and the lunch was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Thank you for your assistance and advice in helping me arrange my event, and to your Company for the smooth running of the day!

One of our friends missed his footing when getting off the boat and nearly fell between the boat and the dock but the 2 crew members really acted quickly and caught him under the arms so a big thank to them as they were quick to react and were obviously keeping an eye on all the passengers leaving the boat. Everyone had a great time, just a shame the time went too quick!! I would definitely arrange another boat party with CPBS. Carol was particularly helpful with all my questions and queries, responding quickly to my emails. Thank you!

I just wanted to say thank you so much for all your help ensuring the children had such a fun time yesterday!As always, the staff were very kind and understanding of the children with special needs and ?very patient and accommodating.?Martin, Harry and Captain of Flame ( sorry was it Mark?) were very easy going and thoughtful -I think the best teams of Crew I have worked with so far although Martin I have worked with several years and he is always a pleasure to work with.
