Each of CPBS’s boats boasts a large sundeck and panoramic views of London’s famous landmarks and is the ultimate venue for a day to remember.
We welcome everyone, whether you are planning a religious, spiritual or humanist wedding, have 40 or 240 guests, are a same or different sex couple, or just want a special venue to renew your vows, we will work with you to create a day to remember onboard our boats.

The "I Do"s
With the help of a celebrant it is possible to have your wedding ceremony onboard our boats. A celebrant allows you the freedom to have a symbolic wedding* onboard any of our vessels with no restrictions in the content or time. You meet with the celebrant in advance to create the ceremony you want, which can include religious or spiritual content if you wish but does not have to.
*At present the law does not allow pleasure boats on the Thames to be licensed venues for a legal wedding ceremony. However, by using the services of a celebrant you can overcome this hurdle and create the truly personal ceremony you wish for. In order to be married legally you will need to have a separate civil ceremony (arranged through a register office).
The Reception
Once the ceremony has taken place and you have tied the knot it will be time to celebrate with your family and friends and there’s no better place than onboard one of our fabulous pleasure boats.
We have a variety of options available to you depending on your guest numbers, taste and budget. Our friendly, professional event managers know that each wedding is as unique as the individuals involved, and are on hand to guide you through the process.
We can arrange your catering, entertainment and bar requirements and can also arrange for the boat to be decorated for your special day, including a “Just Married” banner on the back of the boat. Alternatively, you can bring on your caterers, band, DJ or decorators for a small surcharge. More details of the additional services we offer can be found here.

Are you looking for a romantic and unique way to propose to your other half?
Why not hire one our our boats? We have lots of ideas to help you surprise and/or personalise your proposal. You could position your other half on a bridge whilst you cruise underneath with a sign asking the BIG question followed by a celebration onboard with your very closest friends and family.
