City of Westminster

We are very pleased that our party boats have held premises licences from Westminster Council, in conjunction with the police, fire and environmental health services since the inception of the Licensing Act 2003. The licence application process involves comprehensive evaluations which cover various aspects of the licensed trade including noise control, crowd management and responsible alcohol service, to ensure our party boats meet the highest standards of entertainment, security, and customer satisfaction. Our strict adherence to the licence conditions guarantees a lively and controlled party atmosphere while prioritising the safety and comfort of all passengers. Verified Wedding 2023!
We held our wedding ceremony on the Golden Flame here in September 2023. I cannot praise the team enough, Halle before the event was so helpful and understanding. Peter and his colleague during visiting the boat was amazing and came with quick and easy solutions for all the request, we left after 20 min with the full event organised after meeting them. They are flexible and work very will with you. The event itself was great, they helped everywhere and was flexible with timings and movement of the guests. full 5 star service and assistance from start to finish. Cant thank them enough for making the day wonderful and easy, stress-free!

Verified A Rave on the River
We boarded the Golden Star with 50 or 60 friends on a sunny September evening to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday party. We are all fans of great music, dancing with great friends and London. So the Golden Star was perfect venue for her celebration. Boarding was a little hectic as there were other vessels boarding at the same peir at the same time from other operators who were a little unsavory on the bankside, but the security and staff of The Golden Star were calm and reassuring and they managed to get us all on board wth 2 minutes to spare before we cast off. From there it was (almost) 'plain sailing'! My wife, the birthday girl, managed to leave her hand bag on shore, but Captain Wes and his crew refused to leave it there and they masterfully swung the vessel 180º and threw a rope to collect the bag. Phew. The sound system was a good volume, and albeit a balmy 26ºC when on board all evening, there was plenty of breeze from the openings inside and many people enjoyed the view from the open air aft deck. Absolutely everyone enjoyed themselves, and the birthday girl felt very special and very loved. Job done. Thank you Capital Pleasure Boats. x

I would definitely recommend Capital Pleasure Boats to anyone! From the first phone call right up until the day of the event they were accommodating, fast, helpful and communicative. Special thanks to Elizabeth who even helped us change the entire date of our event last minute. It was a very memorable company party with great views of London!

 Verified Brilliant boat party!
What a brilliant evening! I can't recommend CPB enough. They were helpful and flexible and committed to helping us through every step of the way. The only problem was that we didn't book the boat for long enough!

Verified Don't hesitate booking CPB for any event - Excellent choice!
From initial booking to the actual event, we were left so impressed by CPB and would thoroughly recommend to any business or party people who want a relaxed, well organized event on the iconic Thames. My team/group loved it, we were helped setting up, the food and drink on offer was exceptional, better than any bar we could have booked and everyone left on a summer buzz even with grey rain clouds above!

 Verified Amazing year 11 prom
We had a year 11 prom on board the Golden Sunrise and it was a fantastic event. Students and staff had a wonderful time, the DJ was great and the students were all dancing and singing and having fun. All the staff on board were friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be booking again next year. The staff in the office were also super helpful in booking and organising the event. Thanks for helping us give a great send of to our year 11 students.

 Verified Corporate Boat Party
We held a largescale corporate boat party with CPBS and were absolutely delighted with the outcome. The team were fantastic throughout and really looked after us. We had an open bar, food and entertainment. Throughout the planning stages, nothing was too much trouble and on the night they couldn't have done more to support us. Definitely recommend these guys for large events and parties. No nasty hidden costs, reasonably priced and unrivaled views of London. Will definitely be using them again!
