This month we’re speaking with one of our longest-serving suppliers to see what she enjoys most about working with us.
What do you like about Capital Pleasure Boats/our boats?
There are many things I like about CPBS, they totally understand my business & make me feel like I’m very much a part of their exciting team. The trust between us is immeasurable & the opportunities over the many years have been wonderful.
What’s your favourite boat and why?
My favourite boat is the Golden Star, it’s the smallest of the fleet but has the most intimate feeling & warmth about it.
What do you like most about working with CPBS?
The thing I like most about CPBS is the fabulous relationship that both myself & my staff have with the office & crew.
What’s your favourite type of function to cater for?
Difficult to pin point a favourite type of function as they all add up to people wanting to enjoy themselves, which is then a pleasure to serve.
What would you say is the most popular menu you provide?
Our most popular menus tend to be the BBQs throughout summer & our hot & cold finger buffets outside of that.
What’s your most memorable experience onboard the boats?
My most memorable experience has to be The Queen’s Jubilee; proud to have had the opportunity to be part of it, and the excitement of watching the Flotilla which CPBS were a huge part of.
Have you had any special requests that were out of the ordinary?
Can’t pinpoint any unusual requests, we try to make everything the norm, however, special dietary requirements are becoming more and more frequent.
Which three words best describe working with CPBS?
Three words I’d use to describe CPBS: professional, organised, and loyal.
