Who are you and what do you do?
We are SOLU, podcast & party dedicated to house music and its different varieties (https://soundcloud.com/solu-party
We are organizing events in London for past 5 years under different names. To this date we have done over 40 events in bars, clubs, warehouses and on boats. SOLU Boat Parties are organized by 4 people who all share same passion for music and event management.
How many times have you organised a boat party?
This will be 9th time
Do you theme your events?
No we don’t
What type of crowd do you usually attract?
Crowd which likes underground music and who know how to enjoy it. Our crowd is very diverse, we have people from UK, Spain, Italy, Slovakia, Czech rep, Poland, US and even had a group of Indian guys celebrating stag night. But it also depends on DJ’s we book and where they come from. The beauty of living in London lies in meeting people from all around the world (:
What do you like about Capital Pleasure Boats / our boats?
Friendly staff, good attitude and spacious boats! There are cheaper boats out there, but they don’t provide service on the level you do.
What’s your favourite sight along the river thames ?
Tower Bridge, Cable way at night time, Thames barrier, London Eye and any bridge we pass with having people cheering from boat and on the bridge.
What are you looking forward to most about your planned events with CPBS ?
We look forward to nice evening surrounded by friends, good times behind the decks and on the sun deck and of course friendly staff of CPBS who enjoys our events as well.
Are you planning an after party anywhere?
Yes we do, this time in one of the clubs in Old Street area called LIFE bar. After party is called Little Bit Different:
If money / distance were no object what would be the ultimate venue for your events?
One of the warehouses / movie studios in London.
